Our Story
Mission Viejo Appliance Repair was founded in 2005 by Micheal Vachs, a factory-trained appliance technician who saw an opportunity to bring a higher standard of service to South Orange County homeowners. After spending years working for national appliance service chains, Micheal grew frustrated with the impersonal, rushed service that left customers feeling like just another ticket number.
He started the company with a simple promise: treat every customer’s home like his own. That philosophy hasn’t changed in nearly two decades.

What began as a one-man operation working out of a single service van has grown into a team of 8 experienced technicians covering Mission Viejo, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Hills, Lake Forest, Rancho Santa Margarita, and surrounding communities. Every technician on our team is background-checked, drug-tested, and factory-certified on the brands they service.
Micheal still personally handles calls for complex high-end appliance repairs — Sub-Zero refrigerators, Wolf ranges, Thermador ovens, and Miele dishwashers are his specialty. He’s completed over 15,000 repairs and holds current certifications from six major manufacturers.
